Delete Your Account

You have full control over your data. You can permanently delete your Saldo account directly from within the app — no email required, no waiting period.

Account deletion is immediate and irreversible. Once confirmed, all your data is permanently removed. There is no undo.

How to Delete from the Mobile App

Works on both iOS and Android:

  1. Open the Saldo app on your device.
  2. Tap Settings in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the Danger Zone section.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Type OBRISI in the confirmation field to confirm you understand this cannot be undone.
  6. Tap Delete Account again to complete deletion.

The app will sign you out immediately. Your account and all data will be deleted.

How to Delete from the Web App

  1. Sign in at saldo.app.
  2. Click Settings in the sidebar or top navigation.
  3. Scroll to the bottom to the Danger Zone section.
  4. Click Delete Account.
  5. Type OBRISI in the confirmation field.
  6. Click Delete Account again to confirm.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed from our systems:

  • Your profile, display name, and all account preferences
  • Your email address and authentication credentials
  • Every transaction you have recorded
  • All categories and category groups you created
  • All loan records and repayment history
  • All reminder and notification settings
  • Any files or exports stored in your account

What We Do Not Keep

Nothing. We do not retain your personal or financial data in any form after deletion. Supabase infrastructure backups may keep a copy for up to 7 days as part of their standard disaster-recovery cycle — after that window, no copy of your data exists anywhere in our systems.

We do not anonymize or aggregate your financial data for any purpose.

Can’t Access Your Account?

If you have lost access to your account and cannot sign in to delete it, email us at dzenan.kosuta14@gmail.com with the subject line “Account deletion request” and include the email address associated with your account. We will verify your identity and delete your account within 30 days.

Before You Delete

If you want to keep a record of your data before deleting, you can export your transactions as an Excel or CSV file from Settings → Data → Export before confirming deletion.
